Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shredder’s Revenge is coming soon, much sooner than we expected!

Shredder’s Revenge is the spiritual successor to Konami’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade games from the 1980s and 1990s.

The latest edition to the game will feature all four bodacious turtles, but you’ll also be able to take on the roles of friends such as rat mentor Splinter and news reporter April O’Neil.

The game has been highly anticipated since its initial reveal in 2021, owing primarily to its gorgeous, vibrant, pixelated visuals.

Now, during the Summer Game Fest broadcast, the developers at Tribute Games and Dotemu revealed this about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shredder’s Revenge.

Shredder’s Revenge has appeared at numerous events and showcases since its announcement and was once delayed from late 2021 to summer 2022. However, the game will be released exactly a week from now on 16th June 2022.

Up to six people can play together at the same time with varying enemy numbers based on how many people get together for some mutual battles.

In the game, players begin with a character and a set number of credits and progress through the game, earning extra credits by defeating enemies.

Meanwhile, in story mode, the game focuses on exploration and completing each level one by one, as well as unlocking items on the world map. Each of your characters has a power level, similar to an RPG with some soft levelling up.
