Dragon's Dogma 2: What is the release date?

Since the announcement of Dragon’s Dogma 2, the gaming community has been waiting in anticipant for the game’s release date.

Dragon’s Dogma was released in 2012 and instantly became a cult classic due to its satisfying combat mechanics and pawn system, which allowed you to employ custom followers and collect more as you played.  

Now, the expansion announced by Hideaki Itsuno at Dragon’s Dogma’s 10th-anniversary celebration promises to be significantly better.

Dragon’s Dogma fans have long suspected a sequel would be coming, but it’s been treated like a state secret by its developers.

In any case, now that we know that the game is being developed, here is everything we know so far about Dragon’s Dogma 2 release date.

Despite the lack of a confirmed release date in the 10th-anniversary stream, everyone on the development team is working hard to create a game that, the creators confirmed.

A special edition of Devil May Cry 5 was released in November 2020, Itsuno’s most recent game. Since then, they haven’t released any other games. As a result of his work on Dragon’s Dogma 2, this is most likely the case.

Pre-production for the sequel could have begun at the end of 2020 or early 2021 and Dragon’s Dogma 2 could be released in the third or fourth years following the completion of the previous projects directed by Itsuno.

The sequel will be directed by Tsuno. Daigo Ikeno and Kenichi Suzuki joined Itsuno during the stream. A large part of the original team appears to be returning for Dragon’s Dogma 2.
