Swansea should capitalise on Wolves and Brighton interest to aid Russell Martin’s summer recruitment: Opinion
This summer was always going to be an important period for Russell Martin after he arrived at Swansea City with the 2021/22 Championship season already underway.
That meant no pre-season to get his ideas across and limited time in the summer transfer window to make changes to the squad.
He’s wasted little time in the current window, signing MK Dons centre-back Harry Darling, Middlesbrough defender Nathan Wood, and wing-back on loan from Union SG Matthew Sorinola but Martin will no doubt be keen to bring in more reinforcements and the club should look to capitalise on the interest of Wolves and Brighton to help him do so.
