Swansea City supporters' overwhelming verdict on who should be sold this summer as big fan favourites also revealed

Fans have had their say on the players they want to either see stay at or leave Swansea City this summer.

WalesOnline polled supporters earlier this month to ask them for their thoughts on each senior player in the squad, with the Jack Army able to vote to either keep or sell any given star. And the player with the highest percentage of people voting in favour for him to stay with the Swans was Michael Obafemi who had 97.7% of the 1,071 voters saying he should not be sold.

New signings and key stars such as Harry Darling (96.3%), Ben Cabango (95.9%), Jamie Paterson (95.4%), Joel Piroe (93.6%) and Kyle Naughton (93.3%) were all understandably among those fans wanted to see remain at the Swansea.com Stadium.

But at the opposite end of the scale, it's clear to see that supporters are eager for certain players to be moved on for the benefit of the squad.

With 81.2% voting in favour of him being sold, Ryan Bennett was the player Swansea fans were most keen to see secure an exit from the club. The defender was handed a prominent role by Russell Martin early on last season but fell out-of-favour and has since told he can move on.

The former Wolves man - who attracted interest from Reading - has not trained with his team-mates during pre-season as he bids to secure a switch to a new team.

Liam Walsh had 78% of supporters voting in favour of him being moved on, something that was expected to happen this summer until he ruptured his Achilles in the behind-closed-doors clash with Haverfordwest County.
