Swansea City transfers news Live: Morgan Whittaker to Rangers off as club scramble to make signings

Transfer deadline day is upon us.

Swansea City are yet to make a signing in the January window, and a total of six players have left either on loan or on a permanent basis.

Russell Martin has been keen to recruit a striker and a right-sided defender this month, and a new goalkeeper is now on the wish list following the knee injury sustained by Steven Benda at Queens Park Rangers.

Meanwhile, there could yet be departures, although Rangers are not expected to sign track Morgan Whittaker having already failed with three bids for the forward.
