St Johnstone Scottish Cup winner takes up No.2 post at Clyde
Clyde have appointed Scottish Cup winner Chris Millar as assistant head coach.
Millar (40) comes in after hanging up his boots after a lengthy and successful career that saw him win the national showpiece with St Johnstone in 2013-14.
The former midfielder also played for Morton, East Kilbride and, latterly Kilwinning Rangers and Troon.
Millar and McLean played together at Cappielow.
Millar told the Clyde website: "I'm really excited to join the club and embark on the next stage of my career.
"Brian is someone I know well and we spent a few years playing together at Morton.
"We spoke on the phone after the recent backroom changes at the club [Jim Duffy moving from boss to director of football and then leaving] and he was trying to bring an assistant in.
"I knew right away that I wanted to come in and fill that role, and I can't wait to get started."
McLean's backroom team has also been added to with John Chisholm coming in as sports scientist.
