Serious crash closes road with motorists warned of disruption lasting 'some time'

Police have advised people to avoid an area of Swansea after a serious crash on Saturday morning. The incident has occurred in Penclawdd Road in the west of the city to the south of the Loughor Bridge.

A spokesman for South Wales Police said: “We are at the scene of a serious collision on Penclawdd Road between Hendy Road and Cefn Stylle Road, Swansea. It is expected to remain closed for some time.

"Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible. Delays are expected in the area. Your patience is appreciated.”
