Gary Neville has same problem with Chelsea star's behaviour as he does Bruno Fernandes

Gary Neville has accused Chelsea star Enzo Fernandez of doing the same thing as Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes.

The ex-United skipper was less than impressed with Fernandez while commentating on the Blues' 2-0 home defeat to Manchester City on Sunday. With Chelsea captain Reece James still serving a suspension, Fernandez was given the captain's armband by new Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca.

Neville's feelings towards the World Cup winner offered flashbacks to the criticisms he has aimed at United skipper Fernandes in the past. Particularly, when Fernandez was spotted shouting at his team-mates and throwing his arms in the air.

After the match, Neville said: "Enzo Fernandez presses when he can't win it a lot. He then throws up his arms to his team-mates as if to say, 'Where were you?' He is not kidding anyone.

"I thought Chelsea would take a few more risks on the ball. But they have been quite basic. The Chelsea midfield are being run ragged."

The criticism of the Chelsea midfielder was similar to the tirade Neville launched at Fernandes last year, when United were hammered 7-0 by Liverpool. He blasted Fernandes' body language and overall contribution to the match during a fierce dressing down.
