Live updates as Tonypandy road set to be 'closed for some time' in police incident
Police are at the scene of an incident ion Tonypandy on Saturday morning.
South Wales Police has said that Edmondstown Road, Tonypandy, is closed. The road is currently closed in both directions between the junction with Rhys Street and Trebanog.
A statement from the police force at 5.57am said: "It is expected to remain closed for some time. Motorists are advised to use alternative routes where possible."
