Scott Twine has already told Burnley how he can thrive as transfer offers Vincent Kompany hint

Scott Twine's arrival at Turf Moor is the first sign of the Vincent Kompany revolution with the Clarets splashing around £4million on the attacking midfielder.

Kompany spoke on Friday of his desire to add signings in the next 24-48 hours and Twine is the first new arrival. The Turf chief is overseeing a major squad rebuild given the number of departures from Burnley thus far with the potential of more sales to come.

The Belgian wants to put his own stamp on the side and it's clear the club are looking for younger players who have senior experience and can be potentially re-sold for a profit in the future. Kompany spoke of creating a sustainable club while achieving success on the pitch, an ethos chairman Alan Pace shares.

Plenty more signings will arrive but as things currently stand, fielding Twine behind an Ashley Barnes or Jay Rodriguez
