Ryan Kent sees Rangers champion come to his rescue as downtrodden winger nears Fenerbahce escape
Ryan Kent could see an old Rangers connection help end his Fenerbahce nightmare with reports Nottingham Forest are looking to take the winger on loan for the second half of the season.
Former Ibrox director of football Ross Wilson is now chief football officer at the City Ground and reports in Turkey say the English Premier League outfit have made their interest in the former Light Blues star official.
Kent has struggled to make an impact since his Bosman move to Fenerbahce, who face Norwegian side Nordsjaelland in the Europa League on Thursday night, and the 27-year-old could could be heading for the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium. He has struggled to make any kind of impact, scoring just once in 14 outings. Steve Cooper’s Nottingham Forest are currently 15th in the English Premier League table and are looking to strengthen for the second half of the campaign and Wilson is a huge fan of Kent after his part in helping Rangers win the Scottish Premiership title in 2021 and reach the Europa League Final the following season.
