Robbie Williams basks in 'big Ange' love as Tottenham send superstar singer treasured gift after Postecoglou tune

Robbie Williams has continued his love for 'big Ange' after being sent some swag by the former Celtic boss.

The former Take That signer sparked big Spurs hype when he posted a rendition of his hit single 'Angels' with a customised version for new boss Postecoglou. The Englishman chanted: “You can keep your Pochettino, Conte and Mourinho, and even Christian Gross. 'Cause everywhere we go … I’m loving Big Ange instead.” The clip went viral with the Aussie even quizzed about it in a pre-match press conference, being unable to hide his delight.

And it appears the London side have responded in kind by sending the rockstar a personalised Spurs shirts for himself and wife American actress Ayda Field. Williams posted the unboxing on his Instagram page saying: "I know who this is from because I've just read it, it's got a cockerel on it but I am actually excited," before revealing the Williams top with the number three on the back and saying: "Aw, the love."

He then signs off the video by saying: "That's very sweet of you Spurs, come on you Spurs, it's big Ange-ball!" Postecoglou said when he was asked about being the first Spurs to get a Robbie Williams shout-out with his usual quick-wit, saying: "That is one of the most backhanded, sort of underwhelming compliments I have ever had. 'You've had some unbelievably fantastic managers, big names, successful, and then there's you Ange.'
