Road blocked at busy junction as police respond to crash

A busy junction in north Manchester is blocked this morning after a crash.

Police are on the scene at the junction of Nuthurst Road and Broadway in New Moston. Officers were called at around 7.15am, a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police confirmed.

It is not believed anyone is seriously injured at this stage, the spokesperson added. No further details have been provided.

Pictures show at least one badly damaged car in the middle of the junction. Traffic is being diverted away from the scene.
