Rangers transfer news bulletin as Joe Aribo sent definitive future statement while Glen Kamara branded Leeds risk

Rangers outcast Glen Kamara has been told he WON'T be a good fit for Leeds United should the club make their move for the midfielder.

Rangers boss Michael Beale left the Finland international training in isolation to push through a move away from Glasgow with clubs in Turkey and France as well as a switch to Elland Road touted during the transfer window. The 27-year-old has found himself on the fringes of Beale's revamped squad and has yet to play a minute of football this term.

However, boss Daniel Farke has been warned by former Leeds legend Paul Robinson that a move for Kamara would be a mistake as they look to earn promotion from the English Championship. Speaking to Leeds United fan site MOT News, Robinson said: “You’re looking for players that are going to come in and make an impact. Leeds aren’t in a place where they can take a chance on a player where they, they think they’ll bring a player in and this might work or it might not.

“They’re in a situation now where they’re trying to bounce back at the first attempts. They want players who are proven players and who will improve the starting 11, or at least make a very good case for a start in 11. I’m not sure he’s one.”

Elsewhere, speculation has been bubbling throughout the summer that Joe Aribo could return to Ibrox. Aribo is playing Championship this term - just over a year since he wrote his name in Rangers history by netting in the Europa League Final defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt.
