Rangers transfer bulletin as Cameron Pring 'check' made while Sam Lammers names the moment he knew Ibrox career was OVER

Rangers are considering a move for Bristol City left back Cameron Pring in a bid to solve their problem left back position, according to a report.

In terms of incoming stars, Fabio Silva is the only new name in the door so far at the Scottish Premiership title hopefuls but Robins defender Pring is the latest to be linked with a move. With Ridvan Yilmaz looking to be nearing an exit while Josh Doig appears to be inching closer to a switch to Marseille, the 25-year-old Englishman appears to have moved up the Ibrox agenda. The Scottish Sun report they are "checking" on the player as they consider a move this month.

Meanwhile, flop Sam Lammers has admitted he felt his Ibrox career was over when Philippe Clement ushered in a new ear at the club. The Dutch striker moved to Ibrox in the summer for around £3.5million from Atalanta after catching Michael Beale 's eye while on loan at Sampdoria in Serie A last term. However, new boss Philippe Clement has now sanctioned a loan for the rest of the campaign to free up wages which could allow him to add to his own Ibrox squad this month - with Lammers netting just two goals so far this term.

And while speaking to Dutch outlet De Telegraaf, Lammers has described the moment he got a "feeling" from Clement that he didn't fancy him as a Rangers player. The misfit attacker said: "It was a special situation. Normally you have seen it coming for a long time or you have been on the bench for a long time and you are dissatisfied. That was not the case with me at first.
