Prince William live updates as Prince Of Wales makes special visit to Cardiff

Prince William is visiting a newly established mental health hub in Cardiff on World Suicide Prevention Day. Prince Williams will be at the Principality Stadium on Wednesday, where the Jac Lewis Foundation is setting up a new centre.

Jac Lewis, a well-liked footballer from Ammanford, tragically took his own life in February 2019 at the age of 27. The charity, established in his memory, aims to ensure rapid access to mental health and wellbeing support across Wales.

During the visit, Prince William will tour the new hub, which is expected to provide assistance to hundreds of individuals potentially at risk of suicide. He is also expected to meet with the family and friends of Mr Lewis.

He is also set to speak with members of the Welsh Rugby Union and Swansea City FC about the role sport plays in communities and how their spaces, platforms and influence can be utilised to support the mental wellbeing of players and fans.

This engagement for Prince William coincides with his estranged brother, the Duke of Sussex's, stay in the UK, and is scheduled on what is anticipated to be Harry's second last day of visits.
