Live updates as vehicle crashes into building on busy Cardiff city centre street

A vehicle has gone into the side of a building in the centre of Cardiff on Saturday evening. The incident happened outside the NCP car park at Quay Street - a busy scene for revellers.

Pictures show a cordon is in place between La Pantera and the City Arms while the large white vehicles remains wedged in the black shop front between the very popular Casanova Italian and Asador 44 restaurants.

There is a heavy emergency services presence at the scene including from South Wales Police and South Wales Fire and Rescue Service. You can follow live updates below.
