Portsmouth & Sheffield Wednesday free agents provides more Bolton Wanderers potential targets
Sunderland have become the final side promoted out of League One after beating Wycombe Wanderers in the play-off final to join Wigan Athletic and Rotherham United in the Championship.
With only one more team's place to be decided in the division with the victors of the League Two play-off final between Port Vale and Mansfield Town. All focus is now upon the 2022/23 campaign and gearing up for the latest instalment of League One.
Bolton Wanderers have already made a start on that front. Jack Iredale has became the club's first signing of the summer transfer window as he put pen to paper on a three-year deal at the University of Bolton Stadium and links up with Wanderers after turning down a new contract offer at Cambridge United.

More business is planned in the coming weeks as Ian Evatt adds reinforcements to his squad with the aim of making a push for promotion next season. The Wanderers boss wants the bulk of his summer business done before the start of pre-season training on June 17, with the new season starting on July 31.
Wanderers have released eight players following the conclusion of the regular campaign and many in League One have revealed their retained lists now. Only a handful teams in the division are yet to release their retained lists.
Over the weekend, Sheffield Wednesday and Portsmouth were among the sides to release their retained lists. Only champions Wigan Athletic and play-off finalists Sunderland and Wycombe are still to do so.
