It is believed a significant sum of high-value items were taken. No arrests have been made at this stage.

Detectives have asked for the public’s help to identify a person they want to speak to following the robbery and are urging any witnesses to come forward.

Detective Constable Adnan Mehmood from GMP’s local investigation department said: “As this incident will still be fresh in the minds of those in the area at the time, we are now appealing for eye witness accounts to help us in our enquiries.

“We have specialist officers currently obtaining vital evidence from the scene to ensure we leave no stone unturned to find the person responsible.

“In addition to this, we have local patrols in place to offer a visible presence as we understand robberies can have a devastating impact on the victims and in this case the business too.

“We are actively pursuing all available lines of enquiry and are currently working around the clock to make sure we can make good and hopefully quick progress in this investigation to keep everyone safe.

“If anyone has information, please call 101 quoting incident 1088 of 13/06/2024 or alternatively details can be passed on anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
