Man found dead after police descend on quiet cul-de-sac

A man has tragically died on a quiet cul-de-sac in Hyde.

Police were called to Wild Clough on Friday afternoon (June 28) following reports that a man had suffered a medical episode. Sadly, the man - aged in his 60s - was pronounced dead on the scene.

No further details on the man have been released at this stage. Eyewitnesses reported seeing a number of police vehicles stationed on the residential street at around 5pm on Friday.

In a statement, a Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "Officers were called to Wild Clough in Hyde to reports of a medical episode.

"Sadly, a man aged in his 60s was pronounced deceased at the scene."
