Philippe Clement's Rangers press conference in full as boss reveals players sense 'change' among the fans

Phliippe Clement says his Rangers stars are thriving on the new-found 'positivity' emanating from the support - and challenged the Ibrox support to step it up another gear on Thursday.

The big Belgian has got a tune out of a group of players the fans had almost given up all hope on under Michael Beale. Since taking over just a few weeks ago, they have won four domestic games on the spin to move within five points of Celtic and into the Viaplay Cup final.

They also picked up a good point on the road against Sparta Prague and they will welcome the Czech side to Ibrox on Thursday night looking for a big Europa League win. And Clement is confident they can get it if the atmosphere is as 'positive' as it has been in recent weeks. "I'm looking forward to it. There have been a lot of firsts the last couple of weeks and this is another one," he said.

"You feel in every sense, in the games and before the games. You felt it at Hampden and in Dundee, the atmosphere before the game, there is already a big change in the minds of the supporters.

"There is much more positivity. The players feel it also. They feel it in the warmup and it gives them a lot of energy. I hope to feel that again tomorrow, but even a little bit more. European nights are special, I love it, and I hope for a really positive atmosphere with a lot of support from the fans."

Clement was speaking ahead of Thursday's clash with Sparta and you can watch his press conference in full in the player above.
