Oasis issue statement after 'unprecedented' demand for pre-sale tickets

Oasis fans hoping to secure tickets for the band’s 2025 tour have been issued with an update following ‘unprecedented' demand.

Announced yesterday, the Gallagher brothers will be heading out on the road for 14 dates in July and August next year, which will include four nights at Heaton Park on July 11, 12, 19 and 20.

Oasis will also perform four nights at Wembley Stadium in London, as well as extra dates in Cardiff, Edinburgh and Dublin. Tickets will be going on sale on Saturday (August 31).

It was also announced last night that an early pre-sale opportunity would be open to fans on Friday (August 30) with people encouraged to enter a special ballot in order to attempt to receive access.

The ballot requires fans to answer a special selection of questions before those randomly chosen to get a code will be informed. But some have taken to social media to say that they have heard nothing or received no confirmation since applying for the ballot.

This morning, an update was issued on the official Oasis social media pages informing fans that there has been an ‘unprecedented volume’ of entries.

In the update, the post said: “We are aware that many of you are still waiting on a confirmation email. Rest assured they are on their way, as we process an unprecedented volume of entries.

“Everyone who has filled out the ballot form by 7pm BST today, Wednesday 28th August, will receive an email where they can confirm their entry in the ballot.”
