'New Ibrahimovic' goes gunning for Aberdeen FC as Zlatan carbon copy explodes onto BK Hacken scene
BK Hacken reckon they've got a young Zlatan in the making just in time to face Aberdeen, after Serbian superkid Srdjan Hrstic marked his debut with a double.
Barry Robson's team are poised for a Europa League playoff showdown against the Swedish champions who put one foot in the next round with a 3-1 win over Zalgiris Vilnius in Lithuania. They'll need to see it out in Gothenburg next week but will be uber confident especially after Hrstic, signed to replace Benie Traore, hit a double in that game.
And Hacken sports director Martin Ericsson has compared Hrstic - who was signed from Spartak Subotica - to Swedish superstar Ibrahimovic, who retired this summer after a glittering career. He said: "The way Srdjan moves in the box, how he gets the chances and how often he takes them...it reminds me of a young Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
"He is big, strong and also comes deep for the ball. But he doesn't dribble like a young Zlatan yet!
"We knew other clubs were looking at him in Serbia. He is a young guy who has taken a lot of responsibility in his team for several years already. Considering how much he creates for his team, we believe we have signed a player who will add to the squad and be a very good long-term investment for us."
And Hacken's manager Per-Mathias Hogmo was delighted with his debut. The former Norway boss said: "To score two goals and an assist in his first game for us is superb. He actually had a cold and was coughing and had a sore throat before the game, so he has done brilliantly."
Hrstic admitted it was a fantastic way to introduce himself. He said: "I am very proud. Now I want to talk to my family at home and share the joy with them. They watched the match on TV. From the moment I arrived in Hacken I knew
