Rangers, Hibs and Hearts have work to do in the second legs next week but will all fancy taking the next step. Hibs fan Neil Renton, Leith, couldn’t resist a pop at Hearts saying: “It’s not often I feel sorry for Hearts fans but I pity the ones who went to Norway to watch their side get beat, paid about £12 a pint then observed a European footballing masterclass from Hibs. Jambos will be drowning their sorrows when the Easter Road side go on to face Aston Villa in the next round. We’re living rent free in their heads just now.”
