Manchester United takeover latest as Sir Jim Ratcliffe sets sights on new sporting director

Manchester United fans have discovered more about Sir Jim Ratcliffe's plans once he arrives at the club.

Once in the boardroom, Ratcliffe is set to acquire a 25 per cent stake in the Reds. This will allow him access to the football side of United with the Glazers thought to be transitioning to off-field matters.
