Manchester United handed injury boost as Rasmus Hojlund criticises San Marino treatment

Manchester United's internationals will be welcomed back to Carrington today as they prepare for the return of the Premier League.

This Saturday, the Reds travel to lowly Sheffield United in a late kick off which has plenty riding on it for both teams. Paul Heckingbottom's Blades have yet to win in the top flight since their return in the summer while United are looking to build on the last-gasp 2-1 victory over Brentford prior to the international break.

Jonny Evans is expected to be fit for United's trip to face the Blades this weekend, despite suffering an injury scare while away on international duty.

The Northern Ireland captain was seen limping heavily in the closing stages of their 1-0 defeat to Slovenia on Tuesday night, having already received treatment in the first half of the match.

Evans appeared to be in some pain after taking a blow to his foot in the final minutes of the match, which could have added to United's already worrying injury situation.

Rasmus Hojlund has revealed his concern after being the subject of rough treatment from San Marino players on Tuesday night.
