Casemiro return and Bruno Fernandes' big-game role - Manchester United predicted XI to face Man City

Manchester United welcome fierce rivals Manchester City to Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon and Erik ten Hag could welcome Casemiro back into the team.

United go into the 191st Manchester derby off the back of three straight wins, having beaten FC Copenhagen in dramatic fashion on Tuesday night. Harry Maguire netted the only goal with a close-range header but Andre Onana was the hero, saving a penalty in added-time.

There are few opportunities to face City in a bad moment but Pep Guardiola's side are not firing on all cylinders. They have won their last two in all competitions but are yet to recreate the relentless form of last season.

Ten Hag will arrive confident in the knowledge he won this fixture last time, with Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford netting quick-fire goals. The former took up a role on the right- wing and that tactic could be repeated again on Sunday.

Fernandes has often been moved out wide in big games, with Ten Hag opting to pack out the midfield with more combative options. And the United captain seems to enjoy the space on the flank, also scoring the only goal from that role in a 1-0 win over Aston Villa in April.
