Man United vs Copenhagen referee blows for half time EARLY as moment he 'couldn't be a****' leaves fans creasing
The referee in Manchester United's clash with Copenhagen blew the half-time whistle before the 45 minute mark had even been reached - leaving fans joking he 'couldn't be a****' with any more of it.
The first 45 minutes of the Champions League showdown wasn't a period of football that will go down in history as the two sides sleepwalked through to the half-time whistle. United struggled to test their unfancied opponents and the break came without virtually any goalmouth action to report on.
So much so that Italian whistler Marco Guida decided he'd had enough...even before the 45 minute mark. There were around 15 seconds to go of regulation time when the whistle blew although few United fans on Twitter were too bothered about the early finish. One joked: "Even the referee can’t be a**** watching another minute of that," while another added: "Must have been bored like anyone else watching..."
