Manchester United know what to do to help Rasmus Hojlund
That may have been the most misleading hat-trick in the Premier League era from Nicolas Jackson at Tottenham.
Jackson required two tap-ins from moves that resembled training drills against Spurs's hairy high line and he almost stumbled the ball in for his third. As hat-trick standards go, it should be filed with Dirk Kuyt's against Manchester United in 2011.
The £32million Jackson now has five Premier League goals. The £72m Rasmus Hojlund is still on nought. What you see is what you get with Hojlund: his form is that of a 20-year-old unknown quantity with mediocre goalscoring records in Denmark, Austria and Italy.

Hojlund has scored 37 goals for the four clubs he has represented and the Denmark national team. Come the end of the season, Harry Kane could plunder more goals in a single season than Hojlund has in his career.
It is a cruel comparison but it comes with the territory. Hojlund leads the line for Manchester United, who refused to push the boat out for Kane. A striker is judged on their goalscoring output.
Hojlund has not scored in eight Premier League games and he has had chances. Three clear opportunities fell to him in the 1-0 defeat to Crystal Palace and he had three more in the 2-1 defeat of Sheffield United.
United supporters voiced their disapproval at Hojlund's substitution against Brighton and at Bramall Lane but not on Saturday. Anthony Martial's removal against Newcastle United was audibly cheered last week yet his entrance at Hojlund's expense against Fulham drew understanding applause.
