Gabriel Jesus was greeted at a London hospital by Arsenal sporting director Edu on Tuesday as he closes in on an exit from Manchester City.

The Gunners have landed the Brazilian striker for next season after the clubs agreed a £45m fee last week.

Jesus had 12 months remaining on his contract at the Etihad and will leave after an eventful and trophy-filled five-and-a-half years in an attempt to earn more regular football and cement his place at the World Cup at the end of this year.
