Man City transfer news LIVE Raheem Sterling to Chelsea latest as Gabriel Jesus explains departure

Manchester City are preparing for life without Raheem Sterling today as the transfer window continues.

On Wednesday, MEN Sport reported that Sterling had agreed personal terms with Chelsea over a move to the capital. Thomas Tuchel has long been an admirer of the English forward and looks set to land his man.

Along with Sterling, Nathan Ake could also be moving to Stamford Bridge with the Blues hopeful of completing a deal for the centre-back. Elsewhere, former City striker Gabriel Jesus has explained why he departed the club this summer.

The Brazilian claimed that he was excited by the project at Arsenal after Edu sold the Gunners to him. Jesus' departure came after Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez joined City.

He scored 95 goals in 233 appearances for the Blues however his time in Manchester came to an end this summer after the arrivals of Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez.

Jesus made a £45m switch to the Emirates Stadium official earlier this week as he looked for a new challenge. The 25-year-old has now explained why he chose to make the move to North London this summer.
