Man City 'plot £50million swoop' for Fulham star amid Liverpool FC interest and more transfer rumours
Manchester City are planning to make a move for Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha in January, according to reports.
Palhinha is continuing to impress in the Premier League as Fulham cement themselves in the top-flight. The Portuguese international was set to leave in the summer and headed for medical tests at Bayern Munich but Marco Silva's side pulled out of the sale as they couldn't find a replacement.

Liverpool and Chelsea have both been linked with Palhinha in the past but both teams ended up looking elsewhere over the summer. City's current midfield setup could change in the winter window, with Kalvin Phillips expected to leave amid limited minutes.

Chelsea and Barcelona are also said to be long-term admirers of the teenager, but City are reported to feel they have an advantage in the relationship with the selling club, who they dealt with regarding Julian Alvarez last year.
Echeverri's current contract has a release clause, believed to be around £21.4m, but that will increase to
