I think Pep Guardiola might have wasted his Man City triple bluff before he really needed it

Manchester City were 2-0 winners in their Premier League meeting with rock-bottom Sheffield United.

Goals from Rodri and Argentina striker Julian Alvarez did the damage at the Etihad Stadium as Pep Guardiola and his newly-crowned world champions made it six points from two matches following their Club World Cup heroics in Saudi Arabia before Christmas. They now sit third in the table.
