Major search operation underway after person 'enters water' - live updates

A search operation is being carried out in north Wales after reports a person has "entered the water". Officers for North Wales Police say an active search operation is currently being carried out in the Menai Straits area.

It follows reports that an individual may have entered the water, the police have said, North Wales Live reports.
