M62 crash LIVE updates after traffic STOPPED with long delays
Long queues are building up on the M62 approaching Manchester following a crash near Saddleworth.
Queues are snaking through the Pennines with all traffic stopped on the westbound carriageway between junctions 23 at Huddersfield and 22 at Rishworth Moor this morning (August 15).
Traffic is tailing back for several miles, according to Google traffic data.
One lane of traffic is currently closed, after traffic was earlier stopped.

A post on the Inrix traffic monitoring service said: "All traffic being temporarily held and stationary traffic due to accident on M62 Westbound from J23 A640 New Hey Road (Huddersfield) to J22 A672 (Rishworth Moor)."
An update from Inrix added: "Stop-start traffic and one lane closed due to accident on M62 Westbound from J23 A640 New Hey Road (Huddersfield) to J22 A672 (Rishworth Moor)."
Further details about the nature of the collision are yet to be confirmed.
