Maidstone United skipper Sam Corne lays out his National League South title ambitions

Maidstone United captain Sam Corne has set his sights on winning the National League South title this season.

The Stones are just outside the play-off places, in eighth, after beating Kent rivals Ebbsfleet 3-0 on Tuesday night.

They’re nine points behind leaders Hornchurch, a team they’ve beaten this season, with 19 games remaining, and Corne is aiming high.

Corne is one of two survivors from the title-winning side, along with George Fowler, while George Elokobi, who
