M62 LIVE: Long delays and five-mile queues amid crash on motorway - updates
There are long delays on a stretch of the M62 this morning amid a crash.
Two lanes have been closed off on the eastbound carriageway from junction 22 for Denshaw to junction 23 for Huddersfield.
Traffic is currently queuing for about 5.5 miles up to the closure, with delays of at least 45 minutes.
National Highways said in a post on X: "Lanes 2 and 3 (of 3) are closed on the #M62 eastbound between J22 (#Denshaw) and J23 (#Huddersfield) due to a collision.

"There is currently approx. 5.5 miles of congestion on approach, causing delays of 45 minutes above usual journey times."

There are 8-mile queues up to the previous closure.
