M62 LIVE: Huge delays of over an hour on motorway amid multiple incidents - latest updates
Huge delays are being reported on the M62 motorway this morning amid a number of incidents.
Two lanes have been closed off on the westbound carriageway between junction 26 for Bradford and junction for Brighouse after a crash between two vans. National Highways said there are currently delays of around 80 minutes up to the closure.
A post on X said: "2 lanes (of 4) remain closed on the #M62 westbound between J26 #Bradford and J25 #Brighouse in #WestYorkshire. National Highways traffic officers are awaiting recovery which should be arriving soon. There are currently 80 minutes delays on approach."

'Severe delays' are also being reported on the eastbound side of the M62 at junction 18 for Simister Island. One lane has been closed off after a crash, according to traffic alert service Inrix.
Traffic is queuing back to junction 13 on the M60. Two lanes are also shut on the westbound side of the motorway at junction 19 for Heywood due to a broken down vehicle.

The previous incidents at the M62 eastbound J18 and M62 westbound J19 have now cleared.
