M60 and M62 traffic LIVE: Queues following crash with two lanes shut - latest updates
Drivers are facing queues on the M60 and M62 following a crash near Salford. Two lanes of traffic are currently closed on the westbound carriageway of the M62 at junction 12 for the M60 Eccles Interchange this afternoon (December 5).
Traffic cameras show queues forming along the motorway. There are also queues in both directions of the M60 approaching the Eccles Interchange.
An update from the Inrix traffic monitoring system said: "Slow traffic and two lanes closed due to accident on M62 Westbound at J12 M60 J12 (Eccles Interchange)." Further details about the nature of the collision are yet to be confirmed.

National Highways is reporting queues tailing back to junction 10 at Trafford Park on the M60 clockwise. There are also queues backing up to junction 14 for the M61 at Kearsley on the anticlockwise carriageway.
