M4 live updates as crash shuts major road causing long delays

A crash on a major road into Swansea is causing major delays around Swansea and Neath Port Talbot. South Wales Police are at the scene of a "serious collision" on Fabian Way, Port Tennant.

Traffic monitoring site Inrix reports that the road has been closed in both directions. There is queuing traffic in the area, with long delays building up on the M4 westbound to J42 (Swansea West)

A spokesperson for South Wales Police said: "It is expected to remain closed for some time; please avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible. We're grateful for your patience."
