Live updates as 'serious' crash on major Cardiff road sparks long delays

Police are currently at the scene of a serious collision on the A4232 heading towards Leckwith. South Wales Police have warned drivers that delays are to be expected and to avoid the area.

Google Maps shows very slow moving traffic along the road due to the closure.

South Wales Police said: "We're at the scene of a serious collision on the A4232 towards Leckwith.

"There is currently one lane open only therefore delays are to be expected. Please avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible. We're grateful for your patience."
