Gillingham players Harry Bridle and Harry Waldock join Isthmian Premier Division side Whitehawk on loan
Non-league Whitehawk have loaned two Harrys from Gillingham.
Striker Harry Bridle and midfielder Harry Waldock have joined the Isthmian Premier Division side ahead of their season opener against Ramsgate.
The pair are set to come up against another Gillingham loan player and another of the Harrys. Young right-back Harry Webster has recently joined the Rams on loan.
Bridle spent time with Whitekawk last season after previous loan spells at Sheppey United and Herne Bay. He scored a hat-trick for the Hawks against Canvey Island.
Waldock had a loan with Ashford United last season.
A host of young pros have gone out on loan in recent weeks after being involved with Gills’ first-team in pre-season.
Both Bridle and Waldock played in senior pre-season games against Dover, Reading and Southampton
The pair face a tough opening to the season against a Ramsgate side who stormed to the Isthmian South East season last time out.
Their move comes after forward Damien Theodore signed on loan for Burgess Hill, the side he’d previously been at before making his move to the Gills earlier this year.
Goalkeeper Taite Holtam is at Ashford United and defender Logan Dobbs is with Welling United.
