M4 crash causes severe delays near Newport - live updates

Traffic Wales has alerted drivers of a crash on the M4 that has shut two lanes, causing long delays.

The crash, between Junction 24 Coldra and Junction 23A Magor, is affecting all drivers heading in the eastbound direction.

A Traffic Wales spokesman said: "M4 Eastbound J24 Coldra - J23A Magor. Accident - Delays possible - Lane 2 and 3 currently blocked"

The Inrix traffic monitoring system said: "Queueing traffic and two lanes closed due to accident on M4 Eastbound at J24 A449 (Coldra)."
