Live updates as police investigate 'serious' alleged assault in Cardiff Bay

Police are investigating a 'serious' alleged assault in Cardiff Bay with one man arrested in connection with it. There is a heavy police presence in the area as enquiries continue.

The alleged assault is said to have taken place in Belmont Walk, Butetown, with police responding to a call shortly after 9am. A number of roads have been sealed off by police and there are a number of police vehicles in attendance as well as an ambulance.
