Live updates as major fire rips though Swansea trampoline park
Fire crews have been dealing with a huge fire at a Swansea trampoline park on Sunday night (October 1) and took four hours to bring under control. The fire at Limitless trampoline park was "well alight" when fire crews from six nearby stations arrived at the scene on Langdon Road just before 10pm.
A spokesman for Mid and West Fire and Rescue said that the fire quickly spread to the roof of the building. Footage shared on social media shows huge flames at a unit on an industrial estate near the city's Fabian Way.
A statement on the Limitless Facebook page says: "We are heartbroken. We will be closed until further notice because of a fire. We will be in touch with all future bookings when we can but please bear with us."
The spokesman for MAWFR said: "Crews sectorised the incident and utilised two aerial appliances as water towers, two water bowsers, one high volume pumping unit, two breathing apparatus sets, six thermal imaging cameras and three main jets to extinguish the fire."
They were helped by South Wales Fire and Rescue Service who sent Cardiff Central Fire Station’s aerial appliance and Kenfig Hill Fire Station’s water bowser to the scene.
