Live updates as crash blocks part of A48 near Swansea

Motorists are being advised to avoid the A48 westbound, if they can, after a crash on the road. Full details have not yet been confirmed but traffic and travel monitoring service Inrix said the A48 was partially blocked westbound, with traffic now queuing.

An initial report from Inrix states: "A48 Westbound partially blocked, queueing traffic due to accident from M4 (Pont Abraham Roundabout, Pontarddulais) to Cross Hands West Food Park (Cross Hands)."
