Live updates as M4 fire shuts multiple lanes

A vehicle fire has shut two lanes on the M4 on Sunday evening. The incident happened on the M4 eastbound between junction 32 Coryton and junction 30 Cardiff Gate just before 6pm.

Lanes one and two are shut due to the incident, Traffic Wales reports. Emergency services are in attendance and people are being advised that congestion is possible.

Separately, there is heavy traffic on the A48M eastbound between St Mellon's and junction 29 Castleton due to a breakdown. Traffic officers are attending.
