Live updates as four-car crash on A4232 M4 link road causes delays

There has been a four-car crash on one of the major roads leading into Cardiff. The collision on the northbound stretch of the A4232 has led to a lane closure in both directions. There was already queuing traffic on the southbound stretch of the M4 link road due to an earlier accident, before A48 Cowbridge Road (Culver House Cross), according to traffic monitoring service Inrix.

Road cameras show queues on the road around St Brides and St Fagans. Meanwhile Google Maps shows extensive congestion along the road from the Leckwith area to where it reaches the M4 roundabout at Junction 33.
