Live updates as crash closes main Bridgend road at M4 junction

Police are at the scene of a crash on a main road in Bridgend, near a junction of the M4. South Wales Police said on Monday morning that the A4063 road is currently closed from the Aberkenfig Junction northbound to the M4 at junction 36 Sarn Services.

A spokesman said just before 10am that the road is "expected to remain closed for some time". They added: "Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible. Delays are expected in the area."
