Live updates as A40 is shut both ways near Llandeilo

The A40 is closed in both directions and traffic is queueing as a result of a crash between the A4069 (Square and Compass roundabout, Llangadog) and the B4302 Talley Road (Llandeilo Roundabout, Llandeilo).

Dyfed-Powys Police officers are at the scene alongside other emergency services including fire and ambulance. The force is urging all drivers to avoid the area.

A spokesperson said: "The A40 - Manordeilo to Llandeilo at Manordeilo Service Station is currently closed due to a collision.

"Please avoid the area and find alternative routes for your journey. Thank you."
